The Armatix iP1 pistol and its RFID watch are sold as one of the most secure firearm systems on the market, but are they really f00l-proof?

A hacker, who goes by ‘Plore,’ has discovered some flaws in the Armatix system that entirely defeats its security measures.

Gun control groups have been pushing for smart gun adoption for years, but many gun rights advocates strongly oppose them, fearing that a flaw in expensive technology will be legally mandated.

As you’ll see in the video, it takes only a few cheap magnets to override what this smart gun is designed to do:
